Son objectif est de cr&eacute;er un espace sonore &quot; pervasif &quot; en &eacute;coute permanente, o&ugrave; l&rsquo;utilisateur n&rsquo;est pas tenu de parler dans un microphone pour &ecirc;tre reconnu et compris, mais o&ugrave; le syst&egrave;me &eacute;tablit lui-m&ecirc;me un contact acoustique avec l&rsquo;utilisateur, ind&eacute;pendamment de l&rsquo;endroit o&ugrave; il se trouve dans son logement.<br \/>\nLes param&egrave;tres physiques et acoustiques des microphones MEMS de ST r&eacute;pondent parfaitement aux exigences complexes des syst&egrave;mes d&rsquo;interaction par commande vocale. Leur format r&eacute;duit permet aux chercheurs d&rsquo;incorporer facilement des r&eacute;seaux entiers de microphones dans des murs, des bureaux ou des appareils &agrave; commande vocale qui &eacute;quipent ces habitations intelligentes, tandis que leurs excellentes caract&eacute;ristiques acoustiques, doubl&eacute;es de technologies de traitement de signal sophistiqu&eacute;es, permettront d&rsquo;identifier et de capturer facilement les signaux acoustiques d&rsquo;un locuteur particulier &agrave; une distance de quelques m&egrave;tres, dans une pi&egrave;ce bond&eacute;e o&ugrave; r&eacute;sonne de la musique.<br \/>\nL&rsquo;interaction vocale &agrave; distance va non seulement modifier de mani&egrave;re consid&eacute;rable la fa&ccedil;on dont les particuliers interagissent avec la technologie, mais &eacute;galement repr&eacute;senter une v&eacute;ritable r&eacute;volution pour les personnes &agrave; mobilit&eacute; r&eacute;duite, telles que les handicap&eacute;s moteur ou les personnes &acirc;g&eacute;es. Outre les applications domestiques, les d&eacute;bouch&eacute;s des syst&egrave;mes d&rsquo;interaction &agrave; commande vocale sont les suivants : la robotique, la t&eacute;l&eacute;pr&eacute;sence, la t&eacute;l&eacute;surveillance et l&rsquo;automatisation industrielle.<br \/>\nLe programme DIRHA est structur&eacute; en plusieurs lots de t&acirc;ches couvrant une dur&eacute;e totale de 36 mois et repr&eacute;sentant un co&ucirc;t de 4,8 millions d&rsquo;euros. Les principaux domaines de recherche incluent le traitement acoustique multicanaux, la reconnaissance vocale et la compr&eacute;hension &agrave; distance, l&rsquo;identification et la v&eacute;rification des locuteurs, ainsi que la gestion des dialogues oraux dans quatre langues : l&rsquo;allemand, le grec, l&rsquo;italien et le portugais.
