Le courant maximal est de 50 V pour les deux composants. En valeur typique, la tension de saturation &agrave; IC &eacute;gal 50A est seulement de 1,5 V pour la version GT50JR21 et de 1,65 V pour le GT50JR22. Ces transistors font appel &agrave; la technologie semi-conducteur en mode enrichissement propri&eacute;taire et sont optimis&eacute;s pour une commutation &agrave; tr&egrave;s haute vitesse. En valeurs typiques, avec un courant de collecteur de 50 A, les vitesses de commutation ton (turn-on time) et toff (turn-off time) de l&rsquo;IGBT sont respectivement de 0,26 &micro;s et 0,31 &micro;s pour le GT50JR21, et de 0,25 &micro;s et 0,37 &micro;s pour le GT50JR22. Par cons&eacute;quent, le premier est adapt&eacute; &agrave; la commutation basse fr&eacute;quence et le deuxi&egrave;me &agrave; la commutation haute fr&eacute;quence.
