Il g&egrave;re la tension de sortie et r&eacute;agit rapidement &agrave; une surtension &agrave; l&rsquo;entr&eacute;e en contr&ocirc;lant la grille d&rsquo;un MOSFET canal N. Il r&eacute;gule la tension de sortie, &agrave; la valeur d&eacute;finie par l&rsquo;utilisateur, lors de la survenue d&rsquo;une surtension, ce qui permet &agrave; la charge de rester op&eacute;rationnelle pendant que la surtension chute &agrave; travers le MOSFET. Une minuterie r&eacute;glable, en cas de dysfonctionnement, assure un arr&ecirc;t s&eacute;curis&eacute; si l&rsquo;erreur persiste.<br \/>\nCe composant est con&ccedil;u pour les applications en environnement s&eacute;v&egrave;re de l&rsquo;industrie, de l&rsquo;automation et de l&rsquo;avionique dans lesquelles les syst&egrave;mes doivent continuer &agrave; fonctionner, assurant un fonctionnement fiable face &agrave; de fortes surtensions. Les applications haute tension incluent la protection contre les surtensions des moteurs, les surtensions dues &agrave; des couplages, les tensions d&rsquo;entr&eacute;e incorrectes ou les pannes de tension d&rsquo;alimentation. Tandis que les circuits de protection traditionnels comprennent de grosses inductances, des condensateurs, des fusibles et des suppresseurs pour bloquer les surtensions transitoires, ce contr&ocirc;leur assure une protection par r&eacute;gulation s&eacute;rie de la surtension transitoire. Il est encapsul&eacute; dans un petit bo&icirc;tier TSOT-23 de 8 broches ou dans un bo&icirc;tier DFN, 3mm x 2mm.
