{"id":223107,"date":"2011-12-05T23:00:00","date_gmt":"2011-12-05T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eenewseurope.artwhere.co\/les-diodes-lasers-de-3s-photonics-en-route-vers-mars\/"},"modified":"2011-12-05T23:00:00","modified_gmt":"2011-12-05T23:00:00","slug":"les-diodes-lasers-de-3s-photonics-en-route-vers-mars","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ecinews.fr\/fr\/les-diodes-lasers-de-3s-photonics-en-route-vers-mars\/","title":{"rendered":"Les diodes lasers de 3S Photonics en route vers Mars"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Le CNES, l&rsquo;Agence Spatiale Fran&ccedil;aise, en partenariat avec le groupe Quantel, et le Centre d&rsquo;Etudes Spatiales et du Rayonnement de Toulouse (CESR), a con&ccedil;u et r&eacute;alis&eacute; 2 des 10 instruments embarqu&eacute;s sur le Rover Curiosity dont ChemCam (CHEMistry CAMera).<br \/>\nCHEMCAM est un instrument d&rsquo;analyse &eacute;l&eacute;mentaire des roches et des sols autour du v&eacute;hicule jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; environ 9 m&egrave;tres de distance. Il utilise la technique d&rsquo;analyse spectroscopique induite par ablation laser. Un laser de puissance tire sur une cible, ce qui provoque la fusion du mat&eacute;riau et l&rsquo;apparition d&rsquo;un plasma que l&rsquo;on d&eacute;tecte &agrave; distance en spectroscopie UV-visible. Cette nouvelle technique jamais embarqu&eacute;e permettra de faire une premi&egrave;re analyse s&eacute;lective des roches environnantes de Mars sans avoir besoin de d&eacute;placer le Rover Curiosity. A partir des informations issues de CHEMCAM, celui-ci pourra alors se positionner pr&egrave;s d&rsquo;une roche afin de faire des analyses plus approfondies.<br \/>\nC&rsquo;est en 2004-2005 que 3S Photonics a &eacute;t&eacute; s&eacute;lectionn&eacute; pour la fabrication des puces lasers utilis&eacute;es dans les diodes laser pour spectroscopie de ChemCam. Le choix s&rsquo;est port&eacute; sur 3S Photonics notamment du fait de sa ma&icirc;trise des proc&eacute;d&eacute;s et de la performance et grande fiabilit&eacute; de ses produits, crit&egrave;res majeurs pour le succ&egrave;s de la mission. Rover Curiosity a d&eacute;coll&eacute; samedi 26 novembre 2011 &agrave; bord d&rsquo;une fus&eacute;e Atlas V depuis Cap Canaveral en Floride.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.3sphotonicsgroup.com\"
