Sa tr&egrave;s faible chute de tension directe de 15 mV est bien inf&eacute;rieure &agrave; celle d&rsquo;une diode Schottky, ce qui permet une augmentation de l&rsquo;autonomie sur batterie et une pr&eacute;servation de la tension de fonctionnement, tout en &eacute;vitant les oscillations pendant le basculement d&rsquo;une alimentation&nbsp;&agrave; l&rsquo;autre. La faible r&eacute;sistance de 50 mohms &agrave; l&rsquo;&eacute;tat passant autorise une r&eacute;duction des pertes et de la temp&eacute;rature. Dans le cas de deux alimentations fonctionnant ensembles, le courant inverse, de la broche Out vers la broche In, reste inf&eacute;rieur &agrave; 1&micro;A, ce qui assure le rendement &eacute;lev&eacute; des sources d&rsquo;alimentation.<br \/>\nCe circuit int&eacute;gr&eacute; fonctionne de 1,7 V &agrave; 5,5 V, convenant ainsi aux circuits de sauvegarde &agrave; supercapacit&eacute;s r&eacute;pondant &agrave; la tendance d&rsquo;utiliser des rails de tension plus faible. Les autres applications incluent les syst&egrave;mes &agrave; alimentations multiples, comme les commutateurs de puissance PowerPath &agrave; forte intensit&eacute;, les alimentations ininterruptibles, les syst&egrave;mes de sauvegarde et de secours aliment&eacute;s sur batterie, et les commutateurs de puissance contr&ocirc;l&eacute;s par des dispositifs logiques ainsi que les syst&egrave;mes industriels et de l&rsquo;automobile.<br \/>\nLe courant direct maximum est r&eacute;glable jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; 4 A dans chaque diode id&eacute;ale pour donner de la souplesse au syst&egrave;me, alors que le circuit int&eacute;gr&eacute; consomme moins de 45 &micro;A au repos. Les courants des diodes id&eacute;ales peuvent &ecirc;tre g&eacute;r&eacute;s par des tensions appliqu&eacute;es sur la broche de r&eacute;glage de la limite de courant. L&rsquo;utilisateur peut valider s&eacute;par&eacute;ment les deux diodes id&eacute;ales, ou, sur option, donner la priorit&eacute; &agrave; l&rsquo;une d&rsquo;elles en utilisant les broches d&rsquo;entr&eacute;e compl&eacute;mentaires EN1\/EN2 &agrave; seuils de tension pr&eacute;cis. Si l&rsquo;une des tensions de sortie d&eacute;passe sa tension respective d&rsquo;entr&eacute;e, la diode id&eacute;ale correspondante est d&eacute;sactiv&eacute;e, et les broches d&rsquo;&eacute;tat &quot;drain ouvert&quot; indiquent l&rsquo;&eacute;tat de conduction. Quand la temp&eacute;rature de la puce approche celle de l&rsquo;arr&ecirc;t thermique, ou si la charge en sortie d&eacute;passe le seuil limite d&rsquo;intensit&eacute;, les broches d&rsquo;alerte correspondantes sont forc&eacute;es &agrave; l&rsquo;&eacute;tat bas. Des circuits de limitation thermique internes prot&egrave;gent le composant en cas de dysfonctionnement et un d&eacute;marrage progressif limite les courants d&rsquo;appel.<br \/>\nCe composant est propos&eacute; en bo&icirc;tiers de 16 broches, 3 x 5mm DFN et MSOP, &agrave; performances thermiques renforc&eacute;es, en classes E et I, tous les deux con&ccedil;us pour un fonctionnement de -40
