Parmi les nombreuses innovations dont b&eacute;n&eacute;ficie le ME7838A, il faut citer particuli&egrave;rement une nouvelle approche du nivelage de puissance en temps r&eacute;el, qui permet d&rsquo;obtenir la meilleure pr&eacute;cision et la meilleure stabilit&eacute; du march&eacute; jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; -55dbm. Cette nouvelle approche est plus rapide et plus pr&eacute;cise que l&rsquo;approche traditionnelle de nivelage dans la bande millim&eacute;trique &agrave; l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;att&eacute;nuateurs m&eacute;caniques contr&ocirc;l&eacute;s &eacute;lectroniquement, associ&eacute;s &agrave; des tables de corrections. Sachant que le VectorStar dispose lui d&rsquo;une m&eacute;thode rapide et pr&eacute;cise de balayage en puissance pour les mesures de compression de gain, il permet, au sein du ME7838A, de proposer cette mesure sur les composants &agrave; tr&egrave;s haute fr&eacute;quence et tr&egrave;s large bande, avec la plus grande pr&eacute;cision du march&eacute; actuel.<br \/>\nUne autre innovation majeure r&eacute;side dans la taille de modules millim&eacute;triques, qui peuvent ainsi &ecirc;tre mont&eacute;s au plus pr&egrave;s du wafer. Avec une transition de fr&eacute;quences &agrave; 54GHz, le ME7838A pr&eacute;sente une dynamique exceptionnelle de 107db &agrave; 110GHz et de 92db &agrave; 125GHz.<br \/>\nUn autre avantage offert par la taille et le poids des nouveaux modules millim&eacute;triques du ME7838A est de r&eacute;duire la taille et le co&ucirc;t des positionneurs requis, tout en lib&eacute;rant de l&rsquo;espace pour tous autres moyens n&eacute;cessaires aux mesures sur wafer.<br \/>\nSi la mission premi&egrave;re du ME7838A est la caract&eacute;risation des composants &agrave; tr&egrave;s hautes fr&eacute;quences utilis&eacute;s par le monde des communications, sa performance globale excellente lui permet d&rsquo;adresser de nombreuses autres applications, comme les composants d&eacute;di&eacute;s &agrave; la spectroscopie ou &agrave; la radioastronomie.
