Le chipKIT est compatible avec les cartes et applications Arduino et peut &ecirc;tre d&eacute;velopp&eacute; &agrave; l&rsquo;aide de l&rsquo;environnement de d&eacute;veloppement Arduino et des ressources existantes &nbsp;comme les exemples de code, les biblioth&egrave;ques, les r&eacute;f&eacute;rences et tutoriels. Cette solution, simple et &eacute;conomique, peut &ecirc;tre utilis&eacute;e pour le d&eacute;veloppement de projets par les amateurs comme par les universitaires issus de toute discipline, telle que la m&eacute;canique, l&rsquo;informatique ou m&ecirc;me les arts plastiques.<br \/>\nLes cartes chipKIT, bas&eacute;es sur un PIC32, affichent des performances de 80&nbsp;MHz et sont dot&eacute;es d&rsquo;un maximum de 512&nbsp;Ko de m&eacute;moire Flash, avec jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; 128&nbsp;Ko de RAM. Elles sont dot&eacute;es de p&eacute;riph&eacute;riques de connexion incluant Ethernet, CAN et USB (Full-Speed Host, Device et OTG), en plus de p&eacute;riph&eacute;riques tels que de multiples temporisateurs, un convertisseur analogique-num&eacute;rique (CAN) 1&nbsp;M&eacute;ch\/s, deux comparateurs et de nombreuses interfaces I2C, SPI, et UART. Le chipKIT int&egrave;gre un microcontr&ocirc;leur PIC32 de Microchip, le plus performant de sa cat&eacute;gorie, dot&eacute; du tout dernier c&oelig;ur MIPS32 M4K, con&ccedil;u par MIPS Technologies, Inc.<br \/>\nLe logiciel a &eacute;t&eacute; con&ccedil;u pour garantir un maximum de compatibilit&eacute; avec les cartes, applications et didacticiels de Arduino. L&rsquo;environnement de programmation de Arduino a &eacute;t&eacute; modifi&eacute; et am&eacute;lior&eacute; pour qu&rsquo;il soit compatible avec les cartes chipKIT &agrave; PIC32, tout comme avec les cartes Arduino classiques.&nbsp; Les biblioth&egrave;ques standard Arduino ont &eacute;galement &eacute;t&eacute; modifi&eacute;es pour qu&rsquo;elles soient compatibles avec les cartes chipKIT et les cartes classiques Arduino. Les r&eacute;sultats de ce travail ont &eacute;t&eacute; transmis &agrave; la communaut&eacute; open source Arduino. &Agrave; l&rsquo;exception de quelques cartes fonctionnant en 5V, la grande majorit&eacute; des &eacute;quipements et logiciels Arduino sont enti&egrave;rement compatibles avec la plateforme chipKIT, sans qu&rsquo;aucune modification ne soit n&eacute;cessaire.<br \/>\nLa carte de d&eacute;veloppement pour chipKIT Uno32 TDGL002, disponible pour 26,95&nbsp;USD, est un clone de la carte Uno Arduino. Elle est dot&eacute;e de 128&nbsp;Ko de m&eacute;moire Flash programmable et de 16&nbsp;Ko de RAM, et dispose de p&eacute;riph&eacute;riques I2C, SPI et UART (deux de chaque).
