Il est trois fois plus pr\u00e9cis que les instruments en orbite ou bas\u00e9s au sol pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment utilis\u00e9s pour \u00e9tudier Mars.<\/p>\n<p>e2v a fourni \u00e0 l&rsquo;Open University qui a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 cet instrument conjointement avec d&rsquo;autres instituts, 6&nbsp;capteurs d&rsquo;imagerie \u00e0 charges coupl\u00e9es r\u00e9tro-\u00e9clair\u00e9s CCD30-11 utilis\u00e9s dans le canal ultraviolet-visible (UVIS) de cet instrument.<br \/>\nCes capteurs ont une r\u00e9solution de 1024 x 256&nbsp;pixels au pas de 26&nbsp;\u00b5m et font appel \u00e0 un processus am\u00e9lior\u00e9 d&rsquo;amincissement de la face arri\u00e8re et \u00e0 un rev\u00eatement optimis\u00e9 pour les UV. Leur large plage dynamique est particuli\u00e8rement bien adapt\u00e9e pour la spectroscopie scientifique.<\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s avoir remport\u00e9 ce contrat en 2012, e2v a men\u00e9 \u00e0 bien ce projet dans un d\u00e9lai d&rsquo;un an, r\u00e9alisant toutes les \u00e9tapes selon le planning pr\u00e9vu et effectuant des essais de recette des lots \u00e9tendus incluant des tests s\u00e9lectifs ainsi que des tests m\u00e9caniques, environnementaux, de r\u00e9sistance, d&rsquo;assemblage et de contr\u00f4le.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 notre collaboration au sein du centre e2v pour l&rsquo;imagerie \u00e9lectronique (CEI) de l&rsquo;Open University, nous entretenons de solides relations avec e2v,\u00a0\u00bb a d\u00e9clar\u00e9&nbsp;Manish Patel, Co-chercheur principal de l&rsquo;Open University, au Royaume-Uni. \u00ab\u00a0Nous avons choisi cette soci\u00e9t\u00e9 du fait de son h\u00e9ritage et de son savoir-faire \u00e9prouv\u00e9 en mati\u00e8re de technologie CCD de qualit\u00e9 scientifique pour les missions spatiales.
