Un processeur ARM 32 bits renferme un micro logiciel propri\u00e9taire d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 sp\u00e9cialement pour piloter et g\u00e9rer le fonctionnement du convertisseur.<\/p>\n<p>La s\u00e9rie compte trois mod\u00e8les \u00e0 une sortie fournissant les tensions de sortie nominales de 3,3 V, 5 V et 12 V. Tr\u00e8s efficaces, avec un rendement de 94,5% en moyenne (mod\u00e8le \u00e0 sortie 12 V), ces convertisseurs pr\u00e9sentent une isolation basique \u00e0 2250 VCC requise pour certaines applications PoE. Il est possible de connecter en parall\u00e8le deux unit\u00e9s \u00e0 sortie 12 V pour obtenir une r\u00e9partition de charge en vue d&rsquo;une puissance plus importante ou d&rsquo;un mode de fonctionnement en redondance&nbsp; N+1. <\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;interface PMBus assure des fonctions de contr\u00f4le de puissance offrant aux concepteurs de syst\u00e8mes d&rsquo;alimentation une grande souplesse pour r\u00e9gler les param\u00e8tres de fonctionnement critiques. En connectant le convertisseur au bus I2C du syst\u00e8me, il est possible de contr\u00f4ler les tensions et courants d\u2019entr\u00e9e et de sortie (Vin, Iin, Vout, Iout) ainsi que la temp\u00e9rature de fonctionnement.&nbsp; Le PMBus peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 pour d\u00e9finir des alertes pour la temp\u00e9rature, Vin, Vout, Iout et permet \u00e0 l&rsquo;utilisateur de personnaliser des param\u00e8tres comme, notamment, les seuils de marche\/arr\u00eat de Vout, Vin, la protection contre les surtensions en sortie, la limite du courant de sortie et les caract\u00e9ristiques d&rsquo;acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration.<br \/>\nUne interface utilisateur graphique (GUI) et des cartes d&rsquo;\u00e9valuation sont \u00e9galement propos\u00e9es pour aider l&rsquo;ing\u00e9nieur \u00e0 concevoir un circuit d&rsquo;alimentation dans les r\u00e8gles de l&rsquo;art.\n<\/p>\n<p>Parmi les applications types de cette s\u00e9rie, citons la MicroTCA, les serveurs et les applications de stockage, les \u00e9quipements r\u00e9seaux, le PoE (Power over Ethernet), les tiroirs de ventilation, les r\u00e9seaux sans fil et les pr\u00e9amplificateurs sans fil.<\/p>\n<p>En variante, la s\u00e9rie DVE pr\u00e9sente les m\u00eames caract\u00e9ristiques de produits, mais sans les fonctionnalit\u00e9s d&rsquo;asservissement num\u00e9rique PMBus.
