La R&amp;D d\u2019Atos a con\u00e7u Sequana autour des lignes directrices suivantes : ouvert \u00e0 de multiples technologies, ultra dense et \u00e9volutif, efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique maximale, administration facilit\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p><strong>La cellule Sequana<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les ressources de calcul Sequana sont group\u00e9es en cellules. Chaque cellule comprend les n\u0153uds de calcul, les routeurs du r\u00e9seau d\u2019interconnexion, les alimentations \u00e9lectriques redondantes, les \u00e9changeurs thermiques pour le refroidissement liquide direct ainsi que les fonctions d\u2019administration et de support distribu\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Le packaging<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le packaging est constitu\u00e9 de grands modules permettant de d\u00e9ployer des dizaines de milliers de n\u0153uds en optimisant la densit\u00e9, la scalabilit\u00e9 et les co\u00fbts. Chaque cellule comprend trois armoires : deux armoires contiennent les n\u0153uds de calcul et l\u2019armoire centrale comprend les routeurs du r\u00e9seau d\u2019interconnexion. Chaque armoire de calcul comprend 48 lames de calcul horizontales, avec les modules \u00e9lectriques situ\u00e9s en haut de l\u2019armoire et les modules hydrauliques redondants pour le refroidissement situ\u00e9s en bas de l\u2019armoire. 24 lames sont mont\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019avant de l\u2019armoire et les 24 autres lames sont mont\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019arri\u00e8re de l\u2019armoire. Chaque cellule peut donc contenir 96 lames de calcul soit 288 n\u0153uds, \u00e9quip\u00e9es soit de processeurs conventionnels (processeurs Intel Xeon), soit d\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateurs (Intel Xeon Phi ou GPU NVIDIA).les lames de calcul n\u2019ont pas de ventilateurs, par contre dans chaque lame 1U, une plaque froide, dans laquelle circule le liquide de refroidissement, \u00e9vacue les calories par contact direct.
