Il est environ 100 fois moins volumineux qu&rsquo;un disque dur HDD de 2,5&Prime; ou qu&rsquo;un SSD de 2,5&Prime; et occupe 5 fois moins de surface qu&rsquo;un SSD M.2. Les fabricants d&rsquo;appareils informatiques b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient ainsi d\u2019options de conception bien plus flexibles.<\/p>\n<p>En outre, ce SSD offre un niveau de performance largement sup\u00e9rieur au d\u00e9bit maximal de 6 Gbit\/s d&rsquo;une interface SATA. Il atteint respectivement des vitesses de lecture et d&rsquo;\u00e9criture s\u00e9quentielles de 1500 Mo\/s (m\u00e9gaoctets par seconde) et de 900 Mo\/s, lorsque la technologie propri\u00e9taire de m\u00e9moire tampon pour l&rsquo;\u00e9criture TurboWrite est utilis\u00e9e. Ces performances permettent de transf\u00e9rer un film full HD de 5 Go en pr\u00e8s de 3 secondes ou de le t\u00e9l\u00e9charger en pr\u00e8s de 6 s. Il atteint \u00e9galement des vitesses de lecture et d&rsquo;\u00e9criture al\u00e9atoires de 190 000 et 150 000 IOPS (op\u00e9rations d&rsquo;entr\u00e9es-sorties par seconde), ce qui donne la possibilit\u00e9 d&rsquo;effectuer facilement des op\u00e9rations \u00e0 grande vitesse.
