Tout d&rsquo;abord, la technologie d&rsquo;interconnexion et de commutation RapidIO \u00e0 temps de latence 100&nbsp;ns va permettre de mettre en \u0153uvre la vision de 5G Lab Germany, consistant \u00e0 transformer les v\u00e9hicules en appareils connect\u00e9s en les reliant au serveur MEC (Mobile Edge Computing, ou informatique \u00e0 la marge du r\u00e9seau mobile) d&rsquo;une station de base 5G. Dans un second temps, il est pr\u00e9vu d&rsquo;\u00e9valuer la technologie RapidIO pour connecter en temps-r\u00e9el plusieurs capteurs embarqu\u00e9s \u00e0 bord de v\u00e9hicules, afin de constituer le r\u00e9seau de capteurs fusionn\u00e9s indispensable \u00e0 l&rsquo;exp\u00e9rience de conduite autonome ou de conduite assist\u00e9e. Un r\u00e9seau d&rsquo;ordinateurs h\u00e9t\u00e9rog\u00e8nes \u00e0 connexions RapidIO assurera l&rsquo;analyse en temps r\u00e9el permettant d&rsquo;assister les diff\u00e9rents dispositifs r\u00e9seau, notamment les v\u00e9hicules.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Compte tenu du leadership de l&rsquo;Allemagne dans l&rsquo;industrie automobile mondiale, notre laboratoire se concentre sur l&rsquo;IoT (Internet of Things, ou Internet des objets) tactile, sur l&rsquo;interconnexion \u00e0 faible latence et sur l&rsquo;offre de synchronisation leader d&rsquo;IDT, qui constituent des \u00e9l\u00e9ments essentiels pour relever en temps r\u00e9el les d\u00e9fis des plateformes Internet tactiles, notamment les v\u00e9hicules autonomes,\u00a0\u00bb d\u00e9clare Gerhard Fettweis, Pr\u00e9sident du 5G Lab et membre du comit\u00e9 Vodafone pour les Syst\u00e8mes de transmissions mobiles. \u00ab\u00a0Avec la contrainte d&rsquo;aller-retour inf\u00e9rieur \u00e0 1&nbsp;ms qui caract\u00e9rise les d\u00e9ploiements 5G, nous avons besoin de plateformes informatiques \u00e0 faible latence pour les v\u00e9hicules, la station de base et les serveurs MEC. Ce projet explorera la connexion des n\u0153uds de calcul hautes-performances n\u00e9cessaires au d\u00e9ploiement, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la technologie RapidIO et aux produits de synchronisation IDT.<\/p>\n<p>Cette collaboration s&rsquo;appuiera sur la <a href=\"http:\/\/www.idt.com\/about\/press-room\/idt-launches-next-generation-rapidio-switches-5g-mobile-network-development-and-mobile-edge-computin?utm_campaign=interface_connectivity&amp;utm_source=press_release&amp;utm_medium=press_release&amp;utm_content=idt_5g_la\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">famille RXS<\/a> de produits RapidIO 50&nbsp;Gbits\/s r\u00e9cemment annonc\u00e9e par IDT, ainsi que sur les calculateurs en cours de d\u00e9veloppement par les partenaires d&rsquo;IDT au sein du groupe HPC (High Performance Computing, ou informatique hautes-performances), OCP (Open Compute Project).
