En r\u00e9duisant le courant de fonctionnement du composant \u00e0 3,6 \u00b5A et le courant de drain en veille de la sauvegarde \u00e0 une valeur de 0,32 \u00b5A, il accro\u00eet la dur\u00e9e de fonctionnement des syst\u00e8mes portables aliment\u00e9s sur batterie.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Contrairement \u00e0 d\u2019autres solutions, ce dispositif ne requiert pas que la tension de sauvegarde soit plus basse que celle de l\u2019alimentation principale. Lorsque qu\u2019elle est sup\u00e9rieure, un gestionnaire de priorit\u00e9 est une meilleure solution qu\u2019un simple circuit OU \u00e0 diodes, car il ne tire pas n\u00e9cessairement le courant de l\u2019alimentation de tension la plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e.<br \/>\nDes commutateurs internes, limit\u00e9s en intensit\u00e9 \u00e0 500 mA minimum, assurent le basculement de l\u2019alimentation primaire \u00e0 celle de sauvegarde lorsque la tension&nbsp;tombe en dessous du seuil r\u00e9glable de basculement. Un contr\u00f4le de commutateur rapide BBM (Break-Before-Make), c&rsquo;est-\u00e0-dire un commutateur qui ouvre les premiers contacts avant de fermer les suivants, con\u00e7u avec soin, bloque les courants inverses, le chevauchement de conduction et minimise la chute de la tension de sortie.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p align=\"left\">Pour r\u00e9duire le courant de repos, le diviseur r\u00e9sistif de l\u2019alimentation de sauvegarde est connect\u00e9 \u00e0 un point de masse de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence avec un rapport cyclique pouvant \u00eatre ajust\u00e9 jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la valeur basse de 0,0015% et, en option, une d\u00e9connexion en cas de sous-tension qui emp\u00eache une d\u00e9charge profonde des batteries. Un mode \u00ab\u00a0sceau de fra\u00eecheur\u00a0\u00bb r\u00e9duit encore le courant de veille \u00e0 0,12 \u00b5A, ce qui minimise la d\u00e9charge de la batterie pendant le stockage et l\u2019acheminement du produit.
