Malgr\u00e9 les nombreux projets d\u2019\u00e9lectrification pr\u00e9vus dans plusieurs pays, une part importante du r\u00e9seau ferroviaire europ\u00e9en non \u00e9lectrifi\u00e9 le restera encore longtemps. Dans beaucoup de pays, le nombre de trains diesel en circulation est encore \u00e9lev\u00e9 ; ils sont plus de 4 000 en Allemagne, par exemple. Coradia iLint est un nouveau train r\u00e9gional \u00e0 z\u00e9ro \u00e9mission et une solution alternative au diesel. Aliment\u00e9 par une pile \u00e0 hydrog\u00e8ne, le train \u00e9met uniquement de la vapeur et de l\u2019eau condens\u00e9e lorsqu\u2019il est en fonctionnement, avec un faible niveau de bruit. Alstom est l\u2019un des premiers constructeurs ferroviaires au monde \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper un train de voyageurs bas\u00e9 sur ce type de technologie.<\/p>\n

Afin de faciliter au maximum le d\u00e9ploiement du Coradia iLint pour les op\u00e9rateurs, Alstom propose une offre compl\u00e8te, qui comprend le train et la maintenance, ainsi que toute l\u2019infrastructure \u00e0 hydrog\u00e8ne gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019aide de partenaires. Ce lancement fait suite \u00e0 la signature, en 2014, de lettres d\u2019intention avec les Landers de Basse-Saxe, Rh\u00e9nanie-du-Nord-Westphalie, Bade-W\u00fcrtemberg, et l\u2019Autorit\u00e9 des transports publics de Hesse, en vue de l\u2019utilisation d\u2019une nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de trains \u00e0 z\u00e9ro \u00e9mission \u00e9quip\u00e9s d’une motorisation par pile \u00e0 combustible. \u00ab\u00a0Alstom est fier de lancer une innovation r\u00e9volutionnaire dans le domaine du transport propre, qui compl\u00e9tera sa gamme de trains r\u00e9gionaux Coradia.
