A ce jour, il n\u2019existe pas d\u2019autre solution mono-puce de charge de batterie qui soit configurable pour n&rsquo;importe quel profil de charge, n&rsquo;importe quelle chimie ou tension de batterie, et n&rsquo;importe quel arrangement de cellules. Les utilisateurs peuvent aussi d\u00e9velopper leurs propres m\u00e9thodes de charge sp\u00e9cifiques et les mettre en \u0153uvre. Toute valeur de tension, de courant, de temp\u00e9rature, ou de temps, peut servir \u00e0 d\u00e9clencher le passage \u00e0 une nouvelle portion du profil de charge. Ces dispositifs sont \u00e9galement bien adapt\u00e9s \u00e0 toute application DC-DC n\u00e9cessitant une r\u00e9gulation pr\u00e9cise de la tension ou du courant.&nbsp;De plus, ils supportent les topologies flyback, boost, SEPIC et Cuk.<\/p>\n<p>Ces composants pr\u00e9sentent l\u2019avantage d\u2019une combinaison unique d&rsquo;asservissements ind\u00e9pendants en tension et en courant<em>.<\/em> Soit l&rsquo;asservissement en courant r\u00e9gule le courant \u00e0 une certaine valeur, soit c&rsquo;est l&rsquo;asservissement en tension qui r\u00e9gule la tension \u00e0 une certaine valeur. Chaque asservissement analogique dispose d&rsquo;un retour d&rsquo;information pour un positionnement ind\u00e9pendant du p\u00f4le z\u00e9ro, et peut aussi d\u00e9tecter le franchissement du passage \u00e0 z\u00e9ro pour un fonctionnement quasi-r\u00e9sonnant.<br \/>\nEn outre, ils offrent la possibilit\u00e9 de basculer dynamiquement d&rsquo;une consigne de tension \u00e0 une consigne de courant, ou vice-versa, en commutant entre les deux asservissements. L&rsquo;architecture interne garantit une transition continue, sans pics ni transitoires. Le param\u00e9trage autorise m\u00eame un pr\u00e9-positionnement de la tension de sortie \u00e0 vide, ce qui minimise les transitoires lorsque l&rsquo;on branche la charge.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Ces contr\u00f4leurs disposent \u00e9galement d\u2019un jeu complet de param\u00e8tres de performance configurables et ajustables. Ces param\u00e8tres sont d\u00e9finis dans les registres internes du dispositif (aucun composant externe n&rsquo;est n\u00e9cessaire) et les valeurs sont ajustables dynamiquement en cours de fonctionnement.<\/p>\n<p>Pour offrir une solution compacte, r\u00e9gulateur lin\u00e9aire, drivers de MOSFET, c\u0153ur microcontr\u00f4leur PIC 8&nbsp;bits, convertisseur analogique-num\u00e9rique, oscillateur de pr\u00e9cision, et asservissements analogiques sont int\u00e9gr\u00e9s dans un unique bo\u00eetier miniature.
