Chaque TDC met en \u0153uvre la fonction d&rsquo;un chronom\u00e8tre et mesure le TOF entre une impulsion de d\u00e9marrage START et jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 cinq impulsions d\u2019arr\u00eat STOP. Cette capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 mesurer simultan\u00e9ment et individuellement sur deux paires de broches en utilisant deux TDC int\u00e9gr\u00e9s offre une grande flexibilit\u00e9 de conception pour la mesure du temps. Le dispositif affiche un large intervalle de mesure compris entre 0,25 ns et 8 ms, une haute pr\u00e9cision de 28 ps et une r\u00e9solution \u00e0 un coup de 55 ps (\u00e9quivalent \u00e0 0,825 cm).<br \/>\nLorsqu&rsquo;il est en mode de d\u00e9termination autonome de la moyenne de cycles multiples, le convertisseur peut \u00eatre optimis\u00e9 pour une faible consommation du syst\u00e8me, notamment pour les d\u00e9bitm\u00e8tres aliment\u00e9s par batterie. Dans ce mode, l&rsquo;h\u00f4te peut passer en mode veille pour \u00e9conomiser l&rsquo;alimentation et se r\u00e9veiller lorsqu&rsquo;il est interrompu par le TDC au moment o\u00f9 la s\u00e9quence de mesure se termine.<\/p>\n<p>Ce circuit est compatible avec le module d&rsquo;\u00e9valuation TDC7201-ZAX-EVM, \u00e9galement propos\u00e9.
