Le pilote exploite le proc\u00e9d\u00e9 technologique de silicium sur isolant propri\u00e9taire qui assure une robustesse contre les \u00e9v\u00e8nements SEL (Single Event Latch-up) dans les environnements \u00e0 ions lourds. Le d\u00e9codeur int\u00e9gr\u00e9 s&rsquo;interface directement aux E\/S d\u2019usage g\u00e9n\u00e9ral des FPGA et des CPU de l&rsquo;ordinateur de vol du satellite, ce qui r\u00e9duit consid\u00e9rablement le nombre de broches par rapport \u00e0 la plupart des circuits qui relient seulement une entr\u00e9e \u00e0 une sortie. Chacun des 32 canaux de sortie \u00e0 collecteur ouvert et \u00e9metteur commun g\u00e9n\u00e8re des impulsions atteignant 42 V et 600 mA.<\/p>\n<p>Ce pilote convient aux commutateurs \u00e0 relais et aux sol\u00e9no\u00efdes activant la majorit\u00e9 des fonctions de contr\u00f4le d\u2019un satellite, comme la gestion de la redondance, le pilotage des m\u00e9canismes, les relais et les actionneurs du syst\u00e8me de propulsion, la gestion de la batterie et des changements de charge. Ses faibles niveaux de tension de saturation VCE r\u00e9duisent la valeur de surtension n\u00e9cessaire pour piloter la charge.
