La technologie d&rsquo;Arctic Sand est bas\u00e9e sur des brevets du MIT co-r\u00e9dig\u00e9s par David Giuliano, fondateur et directeur scientifique de Arctic Sand, technologie appel\u00e9e TIPS, pour &nbsp;Transformative Integrated Power Solutions. Cette architecture permet des solutions tr\u00e8s bas profil avec des performances d&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 de conversion de puissance plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es. TIPS, indique la soci\u00e9t\u00e9, permet d&rsquo;utiliser des fr\u00e9quences de commutation plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es avec des rendements de conversion optimis\u00e9s sup\u00e9rieurs aux principaux acteurs actuels du march\u00e9s. Son silicium permet des formats typiquement 2 fois plus petits, avec un profil 2 \u00e0 3 fois inf\u00e9rieur, pour une conversion de puissance plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e et des r\u00e9alisations ultra-minces. L&rsquo;architecture promet \u00e9galement des ondulations et des EMI plus faibles, avec des am\u00e9liorations significatives des performances transitoires. L&rsquo;architecture est applicable aux topologies buck, buck-boost et boost pour une grande diversit\u00e9 d&rsquo;applications. Le site web de Arctic Sand propose des produits pour alimenter les r\u00e9tro-\u00e9clairages d&rsquo;affichage \u00e0 DEL et les produits de buck pour les noyaux de microprocesseur dans les applications mobiles.
