Le fonctionnement dans une large bande n\u2019a aucun impact sur les performances, dans la mesure o\u00f9 ce circuit pr\u00e9sente une PLL dont la figure de m\u00e9rite est optimum, un bruit de phase VCO ultra-bas, des spurs IBS et du d\u00e9tecteur de phase tr\u00e8s faibles, ainsi qu\u2019une fr\u00e9quence de comparaison de phase \u00e9lev\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Fabriqu\u00e9s dans la technologie propri\u00e9taire BiCMOS avanc\u00e9e en silicium-germanium (SiGe), ces deux synth\u00e9tiseurs se caract\u00e9risent par un bruit de phase VCO de -113&nbsp;dBc\/Hz \u00e0 100 kHz pour un offset de 5&nbsp;GHz, avec une gigue efficace (rms) int\u00e9gr\u00e9e de seulement 97&nbsp;fsec de1&nbsp;kHz \u00e0 20&nbsp;MHz, et un seuil de bruit de -227&nbsp;dBc\/Hz en mode entier. Les niveaux de parasite du d\u00e9tecteur de phase sont inf\u00e9rieurs \u00e0 -85&nbsp;dBc typiques, tandis que sa fr\u00e9quence de comparaison peut atteindre 125&nbsp;MHz.<\/p>\n<p>Outre leur facilit\u00e9 d\u2019int\u00e9gration, ces dispositifs sont enti\u00e8rement pris en charge par l\u2019outil propri\u00e9taire ADIsimPLL, un environnement complet de conception et simulation de synth\u00e9tiseur PLL simplifiant l\u2019\u00e9valuation du bruit de phase, du temps de verrouillage, de la gigue et autres aspects de conception.
