Il d\u00e9tecte une surintensit\u00e9 en mesurant la tension aux bornes d\u2019une r\u00e9sistance de mesure de courant externe plac\u00e9e en s\u00e9rie avec le drain du MOSFET. Lorsque le courant de commutation d\u00e9passe un niveau pr\u00e9d\u00e9fini, un indicateur d\u2019erreur se d\u00e9clenche et arr\u00eate le commutateur pendant une dur\u00e9e d\u00e9termin\u00e9e par un condensateur temporisateur externe. Apr\u00e8s un temps pr\u00e9d\u00e9termin\u00e9, le contr\u00f4leur se relance automatiquement.<\/p>\n<p>Con\u00e7u pour recevoir un signal de tension d\u2019entr\u00e9e num\u00e9rique de faible niveau, r\u00e9f\u00e9renc\u00e9 \u00e0 la masse, ce circuit contr\u00f4le rapidement un MOSFET canal N de puissance c\u00f4t\u00e9 haut dont la tension de drain peut \u00eatre aussi \u00e9lev\u00e9e que 150 V par rapport \u00e0 la masse. Les temps de mont\u00e9e et de descente rapides de 13 ns, quand il contr\u00f4le une charge de 1000 pF, r\u00e9duisent les pertes de commutation.<\/p>\n<p>La version LTC7000 reprend toutes les caract\u00e9ristiques du LTC7000-1 mais int\u00e8gre en plus les fonctions de validation, d\u2019arr\u00eat en cas de surtension, ainsi que le r\u00e9glage de la limite de courant et la gestion du courant. Elle est encapsul\u00e9e en bo\u00eetier MSOP-16 alors que le mod\u00e8le indice 1 dispose d\u2019un bo\u00eetier MSOP-16 (12) avec suppression de 4 broches pour les tensions \u00e9lev\u00e9es.<br \/>\nCes deux versions sont propos\u00e9es dans les trois classes de temp\u00e9ratures de jonction, \u00e9tendue et industrielle de -40 \u00b0C \u00e0 +125 \u00b0C, automobile de -40 \u00b0C \u00e0
