Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 cette encapsulation, il n\u2019est plus n\u00e9cessaire d\u2019enrober ou de recouvrir les cartes de circuits imprim\u00e9s ou assemblages, ce qui permet de r\u00e9duire le temps de production et donc le co\u00fbt du produit final. Le PICO s\u00e9rie 304, est \u00e9talonn\u00e9 pour un courant CA\/CC de 277V avec un pouvoir de rupture de 1500A, ce qui le rend appropri\u00e9 pour une utilisation dans des circuits de coupure et autres circuits s\u00e9parant des circuits intrins\u00e8quement s\u00fbrs de circuits non intrins\u00e8quement s\u00fbrs. Disponible dans des \u00e9talonnages de 50mA \u00e0 750mA, cette s\u00e9rie est id\u00e9ale pour limiter la puissance de panne pr\u00e9sente dans un circuit, et aide ainsi \u00e0 r\u00e9duire la puissance nominale et la taille requises pour les composants, c\u00e2blages et \u00e9l\u00e9ments de cartes de circuits imprim\u00e9s en aval.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLe fusible PICO s\u00e9rie 304 est le premier fusible \u00e0 montage en surface \u00e9talonn\u00e9 \u00e0 au moins 250V avec un corps encapsul\u00e9,\u201d indique Tim Patel, responsable monde pour la strat\u00e9gie marketing chez Littelfuse. \u201cCe fusible miniature permet aux concepteurs d\u2019\u00e9quipements intrins\u00e8quement s\u00fbrs d\u2019\u00e9conomiser de l\u2019espace sur les cartes tout en r\u00e9pondant
