Le composant peut fournir un courant continu de sortie jusqu\u2019\u00e0 3,5A par canal ou g\u00e9n\u00e9rer jusqu\u2019\u00e0 7A sur une sortie unique biphas\u00e9e, dans un bo\u00eetier d\u2019empreinte compacte 3mm x 5mm. La fr\u00e9quence de commutation est programmable par l\u2019utilisateur, de 500kHz \u00e0 4MHz, ce qui permet l\u2019emploi de petits condensateurs et inductances, de faible co\u00fbt&nbsp;; est \u00e9galement comprise la possibilit\u00e9 d\u2019une synchronisation \u00e0 une horloge externe, pour les applications sensibles au bruit. Le LTC7124 fonctionne \u00e0 partir d\u2019une tension d\u2019entr\u00e9e de 3,1V \u00e0 17V, avec une gamme de la tension de sortie s\u2019\u00e9tendant de 0,6V \u00e0 99% de V<sub>IN<\/sub>, avec une pr\u00e9cision \u00e9lev\u00e9e de la tension de sortie de \u00b11%, ce qui est appropri\u00e9 aux applications aliment\u00e9es sur 1 \u00e0 4 \u00e9l\u00e9ments de batterie Li-ion ainsi qu\u2019aux syst\u00e8mes \u00e0 bus interm\u00e9diaires 5V et 12V. Les autres applications principales comprennent les syst\u00e8mes aliment\u00e9s sur batterie, les alimentations de point de charge, les instruments portables et scanners portables.<\/p>\n<p>Chaque canal du LTC7124 utilise des commutateurs MOSFET canal N internes, \u00e0 R<sub>DS(ON) <\/sub>de seulement 80m\u2126 et 40m\u2126, pour r\u00e9aliser des rendements aussi \u00e9lev\u00e9s que 95%. Les deux canaux fonctionnent en opposition de phase (180\u00b0), ce qui permet de r\u00e9duire la taille des condensateurs&nbsp;d\u2019entr\u00e9e et de sortie. Le fonctionnement en Burst Mode<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>, pouvant \u00eatre s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9 par l\u2019utilisateur, est utilis\u00e9 pour optimiser le rendement aux faibles charges, requ\u00e9rant seulement 8\u00b5A, les deux canaux activ\u00e9s et seulement 5,5\u00b5A avec un canal activ\u00e9. Pour les applications n\u00e9cessitant le niveau de bruit le plus bas possible, le LTC7124 peut \u00eatre configur\u00e9 pour fonctionner en mode continu forc\u00e9, ce qui r\u00e9duit le niveau d\u2019ondulation de la tension de sortie et celui des interf\u00e9rences RF potentielles. Les caract\u00e9ristiques suppl\u00e9mentaires comprennent une protection contre les surtensions en entr\u00e9e et une protection contre les d\u00e9passements de temp\u00e9rature, des indicateurs de tension de sortie r\u00e9gul\u00e9e, la possibilit\u00e9 d\u2019un d\u00e9marrage progressif ind\u00e9pendant pour chaque canal, une compensation de boucle interne ou externe, la programmation de la limite de courant et une protection contre les courts-circuits.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Le LTC7124 est disponible en un bo\u00eetier QFN-24, 3mm x 5mm, \u00e0 performances thermiques am\u00e9lior\u00e9es.
