La s\u00e9rie SJxx40x est con\u00e7ue pour emp\u00eacher les probl\u00e8mes de surchauffe et d\u2019emballement thermique auxquels les SCR peuvent \u00eatre soumis en raison d\u2019une capacit\u00e9 de refroidissement limit\u00e9e de l\u2019application ou d\u2019une surcharge occasionnelle. Ils sont con\u00e7us pour se d\u00e9clencher avec seulement quelques milliamp\u00e8res de courant \u00e0 moins de 1.5V de potentiel. Les thyristors SCR de la s\u00e9rie SJxx40x sont utilis\u00e9s principalement dans des redresseurs dont l\u2019utilisation finale va, entre autres, d\u2019interrupteurs CA \u00e0 semi-conducteur aux outils \u00e9lectriques industriels en passant par le mat\u00e9riel d\u2019entra\u00eenement sportif, les appareils \u00e9lectro-m\u00e9nagers et des applications commerciales.<br \/>\n\u201cLes concepteurs qui, autrefois, devaient faire face \u00e0 des capacit\u00e9s limit\u00e9es de refroidissement peuvent d\u00e9sormais tirer profit d\u2019un thyristor SCR pouvant fonctionner \u00e0 des temp\u00e9ratures plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es, ce qui minimise le risque d\u2019une augmentation intempestive de temp\u00e9rature dans des applications difficiles,\u201d indique Koichiro Yoshimoto, responsable du d\u00e9veloppement commercial chez Littelfuse. \u201cLe passage \u00e0 la nouvelle s\u00e9rie SJxx40x permettra de traiter une plus grande quantit\u00e9 de courant ou d\u2019utiliser un
