Quand une alimentation externe est disponible, le composant peut g\u00e9n\u00e9rer un courant total en sortie pouvant atteindre 2,5A et un courant de charge jusqu\u2019\u00e0 1,5A, pour les batteries Li-ion, \u00e0 un \u00e9l\u00e9ment de 4,1V ou 4,2V. Si la source principale d\u2019entr\u00e9e fait d\u00e9faut et ne peut plus alimenter la charge, le LTC4091 fournit jusqu\u2019\u00e0 4A \u00e0 la charge en sortie du syst\u00e8me \u00e0 partir de la batterie de sauvegarde au Li-ion via une diode id\u00e9ale interne, et un courant non limit\u00e9&nbsp;si un transistor diode id\u00e9ale externe est utilis\u00e9. Afin de prot\u00e9ger les charges sensibles, en aval, la tension de sortie au niveau de la charge est de 4,45V maximum. Le contr\u00f4le PowerPath du composant procure une commutation sans coupure entre l\u2019alimentation d\u2019entr\u00e9e et l\u2019alimentation de sauvegarde en cas de d\u00e9faillance d\u2019alimentation et permet un blocage inverse si une entr\u00e9e est court-circuit\u00e9e. Les applications courantes du LTC4091 comprennent le suivi des ressources et des parcs, les enregistreurs de donn\u00e9es GPS de l\u2019automobile et les syst\u00e8mes t\u00e9l\u00e9matiques, les syst\u00e8mes de s\u00e9curit\u00e9, les syst\u00e8mes de sauvegarde des communications et de l\u2019industrie.<\/p>\n<p>Le LTC4091 comprend une protection contre les surtensions de 60V max. absolus en entr\u00e9e, rendant le circuit int\u00e9gr\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019abri de fortes surtensions en entr\u00e9e. Le chargeur de batterie du LTC4091 propose deux broches de s\u00e9lection de tensions de charge optimis\u00e9es pour les applications \u00e0 batteries de secours au Li-ion&nbsp;: la tension standard de 4,2V et l\u2019option 4,1V qui permet un compromis sur la dur\u00e9e de fonctionnement de la batterie pour une dur\u00e9e de cycle de charge\/d\u00e9charge accrue. ainsi qu\u2019une charge de maintien, une recharge automatique, une pr\u00e9-charge basse de la batterie, une fin de charge temporis\u00e9e, une r\u00e9gulation thermique et une broche \u00e0 thermistance pour une charge \u00e0 temp\u00e9rature qualifi\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p><a
