Cette matrice offre une sensibilit\u00e9 \u00e9lev\u00e9e \u00e0 l&rsquo;infrarouge proche (NIR), qui assure un PDE (Photon Detection Efficiency, ou rendement de d\u00e9tection de photons) de 18,5% \u00e0 905&nbsp;nm, soit le record du march\u00e9. Le gain interne \u00e9lev\u00e9 du SiPM permet une sensibilit\u00e9 jusqu&rsquo;au niveau d&rsquo;un seul photon, une caract\u00e9ristique qui, combin\u00e9e \u00e0 son PDE \u00e9lev\u00e9, permet de d\u00e9tecter les signaux retour les plus faibles. Cela augmente sa distance de d\u00e9tection, m\u00eame avec des cibles peu r\u00e9fl\u00e9chissantes.<\/p>\n<p>Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 leurs caract\u00e9ristiques uniques, les SiPM ont pris de l&rsquo;ampleur ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es pour devenir la technologie de choix pour la d\u00e9tection de distances sur un march\u00e9 tr\u00e8s large. Les SiPM sont capables de fournir le meilleur rapport signal\/bruit sur longues distances dans des conditions de fort ensoleillement. D&rsquo;autres avantages, notamment des biais d&rsquo;alimentation plus faibles et une moindre sensibilit\u00e9 aux variations de temp\u00e9rature, en font des dispositifs de remplacement parfaits dans les anciens syst\u00e8mes \u00e0 base de photodiodes APD (photodiodes \u00e0 avalanche). Les SiPM sont produits au moyen d&rsquo;un processus CMOS de grande s\u00e9rie, permettant d&rsquo;obtenir un co\u00fbt tr\u00e8s bas et donc de proposer des solutions LiDAR \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;utilisation de lumi\u00e8re laser pour mesurer la distance d&rsquo;un objet fait son chemin dans les applications automobiles, industrielles et grand public. Dans l&rsquo;automobile, le LiDAR am\u00e9liore la s\u00fbret\u00e9 et les performances des syst\u00e8mes automatiques d&rsquo;aide \u00e0 la conduite (ADAS), pour des fonctions comme le maintien dans la voie ou la r\u00e9gulation de vitesse adaptative, en compl\u00e9tant et en assurant une redondance avec d&rsquo;autres modalit\u00e9s de d\u00e9tection. Le LiDAR est de plus en plus utilis\u00e9 dans les applications de conduite 100% autonome, comme le transport robotis\u00e9, pour naviguer en temps r\u00e9el dans un environnement en toute s\u00e9curit\u00e9. Gr\u00e2ce au PDE \u00e9lev\u00e9 de l&rsquo;ArrayRDM-0112A20-QFN, les syst\u00e8mes LiDAR prenant en charge ces fonctions ont fait leurs preuves \u00e0 des distances sup\u00e9rieures \u00e0 300 m\u00e8tres. Des distances plus grandes donnent plus de temps au v\u00e9hicule pour r\u00e9agir \u00e0 des situations impr\u00e9vues.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab&nbsp;Les donn\u00e9es de profondeur haute r\u00e9solution fournies par le LiDAR permettent l&rsquo;identification instantan\u00e9e et pr\u00e9cise de tous les objets environnants en conditions de basse lumi\u00e8re.
