Bien que la technologie USB-C puisse offrir une puissance et un d\u00e9bit de donn\u00e9es \u00e9lev\u00e9s, elle limite la port\u00e9e de l&rsquo;installation \u00e0 trois m\u00e8tres au plus d&rsquo;une prise de courant. Alors que l&rsquo;alimentation par Ethernet (PoE) se g\u00e9n\u00e9ralise et permet de fournir l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie par un c\u00e2ble Ethernet standard, c&rsquo;est la solution la plus pratique pour transmettre \u00e0 la fois une alimentation et des donn\u00e9es, jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 100 m\u00e8tres. Alors que la plupart des adaptateurs du march\u00e9 ne fournissent que de la puissance, celle-ci reste limit\u00e9e \u00e0 25&nbsp;W.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;adaptateur <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microchip.com\/wwwproducts\/en\/PD-USB\">PD-USB-DP60<\/a> accepte jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 90&nbsp;W de PoE et les convertit en 60&nbsp;W de sortie sur USB-C, pour alimenter la plupart des appareils photo, ordinateurs portables, tablettes et autres dispositifs utilisant l&rsquo;USB-C pour l&rsquo;alimentation. Cet adaptateur simplifie l&rsquo;installation en r\u00e9duisant la d\u00e9pendance \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9gard du r\u00e9seau secteur. Sans la d\u00e9pendance vis-\u00e0-vis d&rsquo;une prise secteur, la port\u00e9e n&rsquo;est plus limit\u00e9e \u00e0 trois m\u00e8tres, et la puissance peut \u00eatre fournie sur plus de 100&nbsp;m\u00e8tres. Cet adaptateur am\u00e9liore \u00e9galement les capacit\u00e9s de gestion d&rsquo;alimentation \u00e0 distance de l&rsquo;appareil aliment\u00e9 par USB-C. La capacit\u00e9 de r\u00e9initialisation de l&rsquo;alimentation \u00e0 distance, fournie par la source PoE, permet de contr\u00f4ler le cycle d&rsquo;alimentation via l&rsquo;interface web ou le protocole SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) pour r\u00e9initialiser l&rsquo;appareil, plut\u00f4t que d&rsquo;avoir \u00e0 d\u00e9brancher et red\u00e9marrer manuellement \u00e0 l\u2019endroit o\u00f9 se trouve l&rsquo;\u00e9quipement. L&rsquo;adaptateur PoE-vers-USB-C de Microchip peut se connecter \u00e0 diff\u00e9rentes sources PoE utilisant diff\u00e9rentes normes. Il prend en charge les nouvelles normes IEEE 802.3af\/at\/bt ainsi que les normes PoE plus anciennes. Disposer d&rsquo;un adaptateur polyvalent est primordial, compte tenu des nombreuses impl\u00e9mentations PoE d\u00e9j\u00e0 existantes.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab&nbsp;Ce nouveau dispositif est id\u00e9al pour d\u00e9ployer facilement des dispositifs USB-C, tout en leur fournissant une alimentation et une connectivit\u00e9 de donn\u00e9es \u00e0 longue port\u00e9e,&nbsp;\u00bb d\u00e9clare Iris Shuker, Directrice de la division PoE de Microchip. \u00ab&nbsp;Les adaptateurs font appel aux circuits USB Power Delivery et aux puces PoE de Microchip, et sont parfaitement compatibles avec nos derniers injecteurs et midspans PoE.&nbsp;\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>La possibilit\u00e9 de convertir une entr\u00e9e 90&nbsp;W en une sortie 60&nbsp;W permet \u00e0 des appareils n\u00e9cessitant une charge de puissance plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e de profiter d&rsquo;une alimentation PoE, ce qui n&rsquo;\u00e9tait pas possible auparavant. L&rsquo;adaptateur peut \u00eatre associ\u00e9 aux injecteurs\/midspans PoE \u00e0 un ou plusieurs ports (jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 24) de Microchip, qui sont conformes aux normes IEEE 802.3af\/at\/bt et fournissent jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 90&nbsp;W par port. Si une puissance inf\u00e9rieure est n\u00e9cessaire pour alimenter le p\u00e9riph\u00e9rique USB-C, des sources PoE IEEE802.3af (15,4&nbsp;W) ou IEEE802.3at (30&nbsp;W) peuvent \u00eatre utilis\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Microchip propose \u00e9galement des CI indispensables \u00e0 l&rsquo;adaptateur PoE-vers-USB-C, notamment la famille de circuits PoE PD70xxx et le pont USB-vers-Ethernet LAN7800. La fonctionnalit\u00e9 est assur\u00e9e par le Power Delivery Software Framework (PSF) de Microchip, une pile de logiciels Power Delivery (PD) open source, qui tourne sur le contr\u00f4leur PD UPD301C
