Ce nanocomposite est appliqu\u00e9 comme un rev\u00eatement sur un substrat qui contient \u00e9galement des circuits \u00e9lectroniques capables de capturer les donn\u00e9es et de renvoyer l&rsquo;information, afin d\u2019identifier la pr\u00e9sence de fuites. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la technologie de circuits imprim\u00e9s flexibles IHT de Trackwise, il est possible de produire des bandes WrapSense de 26&nbsp;m de long.<br \/>\n\u00ab&nbsp;Auparavant, nous devions connecter bout \u00e0 bout de petits segments&nbsp;\u00bb, explique <a name=\"_Hlk89965324\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Stephen Edmondson<\/a>, Directeur Scientifique de Direct-C. \u00ab&nbsp;Cela prenait du temps et n\u00e9cessitait de nombreuses liaisons, dont chacune \u00e9tait un point de d\u00e9faillance potentiel. Par cons\u00e9quent, plusieurs fils peuvent \u00eatre remplac\u00e9s par un unique FPC, ce qui permet de gagner de la place et du poids, mais aussi d&rsquo;am\u00e9liorer la fiabilit\u00e9 et la r\u00e9p\u00e9tabilit\u00e9, et d\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer l&rsquo;assemblage. Trackwise propose une production de FPC en grande s\u00e9rie rentable au Royaume-Uni. L&rsquo;entreprise est \u00e9galement tr\u00e8s exp\u00e9riment\u00e9e dans le domaine de l&rsquo;a\u00e9ronautique et autres march\u00e9s \u00e0 haute fiabilit\u00e9, ce qui en fait un partenaire id\u00e9al pour les besoins de Direct-C. \u00ab&nbsp;Nous fabriquons de tr\u00e8s grandes longueurs de WrapSense. Par exemple, nous venons de terminer un parcours de 350&nbsp;m pour une raffinerie allemande.
