Airbus Stevenage est pleinement int\u00e9gr\u00e9 dans l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe principale pour l&rsquo;ing\u00e9nierie de l&rsquo;avionique, la communication radiofr\u00e9quence et la conception \u00e9lectrique de la plate-forme, comme cela a \u00e9t\u00e9 prouv\u00e9 avec succ\u00e8s pour le d\u00e9veloppement de Gaia \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Airbus dirigera le consortium industriel europ\u00e9en avec plus de 60 contractants pour la construction du satellite et apportera son expertise et son soutien \u00e0 l&rsquo;ESA pour le d\u00e9veloppement du module de charge utile.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab&nbsp;Avec cette \u00e9tape importante de la mission Ariel, nous c\u00e9l\u00e9brons la poursuite de la relation exceptionnelle avec nos partenaires industriels pour maintenir l&rsquo;Europe \u00e0 la pointe de l&rsquo;excellence dans le domaine de la recherche sur les exoplan\u00e8tes au cours de la prochaine d\u00e9cennie et au-del\u00e0&nbsp;\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 G\u00fcnther Hasinger, directeur de l&rsquo;ESA Science.<\/p>\n<p>Plus de 5 000 exoplan\u00e8tes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 identifi\u00e9es depuis la premi\u00e8re observation en 1995, mais on sait peu de choses sur la composition chimique de leurs atmosph\u00e8res. Les missions scientifiques spatiales existantes donnent des r\u00e9sultats sur les exoplan\u00e8tes (comme le CHEOPS construit par Airbus pour l&rsquo;ESA), mais Ariel sera la premi\u00e8re mission d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9tude de l&rsquo;atmosph\u00e8re d&rsquo;un grand nombre d&rsquo;exoplan\u00e8tes, y compris la d\u00e9termination des principaux composants atmosph\u00e9riques et la caract\u00e9risation des nuages. Les observations de ces mondes donneront un aper\u00e7u des premiers stades de la formation plan\u00e9taire et atmosph\u00e9rique, et de leur \u00e9volution ult\u00e9rieure, contribuant \u00e0 leur tour \u00e0 la compr\u00e9hension de notre propre syst\u00e8me solaire. Ils pourraient nous aider \u00e0 d\u00e9couvrir s&rsquo;il y a de la vie ailleurs dans notre univers et s&rsquo;il y a une autre plan\u00e8te comme la Terre.<\/p>\n<p>La mission se concentrera sur des plan\u00e8tes chaudes et tr\u00e8s chaudes, allant des super-Terres aux g\u00e9antes gazeuses en orbite pr\u00e8s de leurs \u00e9toiles m\u00e8res, profitant de leurs atmosph\u00e8res bien m\u00e9lang\u00e9es pour d\u00e9chiffrer leur composition en gros. Apr\u00e8s son lancement, en 2029 sur un lanceur Ariane 6, Ariel sera inject\u00e9 sur une trajectoire de transfert direct vers le deuxi\u00e8me point lagrangien (L2). Le satellite a besoin d&rsquo;une conception thermique et m\u00e9canique stable pour effectuer des observations \u00e0 long terme du m\u00eame syst\u00e8me plan\u00e8te\/\u00e9toile pendant une dur\u00e9e comprise entre 10 heures et jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 trois jours. Sa mission durera quatre ans avec une extension possible d&rsquo;au moins deux ans.<\/p>\n<p>Airbus \u00e9tait d\u00e9j\u00e0 ma\u00eetre d&rsquo;\u0153uvre de la mission CHEOPS de l&rsquo;ESA. Lanc\u00e9 en d\u00e9cembre 2019, son objectif est de caract\u00e9riser les exoplan\u00e8tes en orbite autour d&rsquo;\u00e9toiles proches, d&rsquo;observer des plan\u00e8tes connues dans la gamme de tailles entre la Terre et Neptune et de mesurer avec pr\u00e9cision leurs diam\u00e8tre&nbsp;pour d\u00e9terminer la densit\u00e9 et la composition.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a
