C&rsquo;est le cas, par exemple, des solutions d&rsquo;affichage pour les casques de pilotes d&rsquo;avions. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:5.75pt;background:white;vertical-align:baseline\"><span>Si les mat\u00e9riaux \u00e0 base de GaN permettent de fabriquer des diodes \u00e9lectroluminescentes \u00e0 fort rendement, on ne sait faire aujourd&rsquo;hui que des LEDs \u00e9mettant efficacement de la lumi\u00e8re bleue ou verte. Or pour faire un \u00e9cran polychrome, il faut des LEDs bleues, vertes et rouges. Les chercheurs du Leti ont donc contourn\u00e9 le probl\u00e8me en d\u00e9veloppant une matrice dont chaque pixel image est constitu\u00e9 de 4 LEDs bleues. Sur ces 4 LEDs, une est recouverte d&rsquo;une couche convertissant le bleu en vert, et deux d&rsquo;une couche convertissant le bleu en rouge. Un circuit \u00e9lectronique d&rsquo;adressage (ASIC) alimente ind\u00e9pendamment chacune des LEDs en fonction de la couleur attendue pour le pixel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"background:white;vertical-align:baseline\"><span>Le couplage de la matrice de LEDs (pixels de 8 * 8 \u00b5m<sup><span style=\"border:none windowtext 1.0pt;padding:0cm\">2<\/span><\/sup>, avec un pas de 9,5 \u00b5m), des convertisseurs de couleur et du circuit de pilotage devrait ainsi permettre de r\u00e9aliser le tout premier d\u00e9monstrateur de micro \u00e9cran couleur de 1,5 cm de c\u00f4t\u00e9, et offrant une luminance d&rsquo;au moins 50000 candelas par m<sup><span style=\"border:none windowtext 1.0pt;padding:0cm\">2<\/span><\/sup>, soit&nbsp;environ 2 fois plus que les meilleurs \u00e9crans LCD et \u00e9crans OLED miniaturis\u00e9s actuellement disponibles&nbsp;!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"background:white;vertical-align:baseline\"><span><\/span><a
