L\u2019objectif global de la mission LSTM est de permettre une production agricole plus durable dans des r\u00e9gions qui subissent de plus en plus de p\u00e9nuries d\u2019eau et de changements climatiques. La mission LSTM vise \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer la fa\u00e7on dont le secteur agricole pr\u00e9voit les \u00e9pisodes de s\u00e9cheresse et aborde d\u2019autres probl\u00e8mes de d\u00e9gradation des terres.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n\u00ab&nbsp;Lynred dispose d\u2019une grande exp\u00e9rience dans le d\u00e9veloppement et la fabrication de d\u00e9tecteurs SWIR pour les instruments spatiaux. Nous avons confiance dans les comp\u00e9tences et les performances technologiques de Lynred pour r\u00e9pondre aux enjeux de ce programme et fournir le d\u00e9tecteur SWIR dont nous avons besoin pour la mission LSTM \u00bb, d\u00e9clare Vincent Chorvalli, chef de projet pour les instruments LSTM chez ADS. Il convient de noter que ce type de d\u00e9tecteur infrarouge, gr\u00e2ce notamment \u00e0 ses performances, est l\u2019un des principaux composants qui permet \u00e0 l\u2019imageur d\u2019atteindre une performance syst\u00e8me optimale. Autre facteur important&nbsp;: le d\u00e9tecteur infrarouge doit fonctionner nominalement tout en r\u00e9sistant \u00e0 des environnements spatiaux s\u00e9v\u00e8res, notamment des niveaux de radiations \u00e9lev\u00e9s. Son r\u00f4le et sa fiabilit\u00e9 sont donc d&rsquo;autant plus importants.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nLe d\u00e9tecteur SWIR de Lynred permettra de capter la lumi\u00e8re infrarouge sur trois longueurs d\u2019ondes diff\u00e9rentes (0,945 \u00b5m, 1,375 \u00b5m et 1,61 \u00b5m). Sa conception r\u00e9pondra aux besoins sp\u00e9cifiques de la mission LSTM, notamment un d\u00e9tecteur multi-spectral lin\u00e9aire avec quatre bandes diff\u00e9rentes (la ligne \u00e0 0,945 \u00b5m \u00e9tant dupliqu\u00e9e pour r\u00e9pondre aux besoins de la mission) de 1 200 pixels selon la direction perpendiculaire \u00e0 la trajectoire du satellite, et de 12 pixels selon la direction de la trajectoire du satellite (les m\u00e9thodes de balayage sont utilis\u00e9es pour acqu\u00e9rir une image multi-spectrale). Les 12 pixels permettront la mise en \u0153uvre d&rsquo;une op\u00e9ration TDI (Time-Delay Integration) directement sur la puce du d\u00e9tecteur, une m\u00e9thode d&rsquo;am\u00e9lioration du ratio \u00ab&nbsp;signal sur bruit&nbsp;\u00bb utilis\u00e9e pour am\u00e9liorer la sensibilit\u00e9 de l\u2019image. En cons\u00e9quence, l&rsquo;\u00e9lectronique du d\u00e9tecteur est consid\u00e9rablement simplifi\u00e9e ce qui permet ainsi une optimisation globale de la conception de la cha\u00eene de d\u00e9tection.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nLynred va fournir le premier mod\u00e8le de vol d\u2019ici fin 2023.
