Mais, l\u2019ex\u00e9cution de ces programmes sur nos ordinateurs conventionnels consomme une \u00e9nergie dix mille fois sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 celle du cerveau humain. Pour r\u00e9duire la consommation \u00e9lectrique, il faut construire des ordinateurs inspir\u00e9s du cerveau int\u00e9grant un tr\u00e8s grand nombre de neurones et de synapses miniaturis\u00e9s. Cependant, jusqu\u2019ici, personne n\u2019a su fabriquer un nano-neurone artificiel suffisamment stable pour calculer de fa\u00e7on fiable malgr\u00e9 une taille miniature.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" height=\"244\" data-src=\"\/sites\/default\/files\/images\/01-picture-library\/cea-nano-neurone_1.jpg\" width=\"300\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" class=\"lazyload\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 300px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 300\/244;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\nPour la premi\u00e8re fois, les chercheurs ont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 un nano-neurone capable de reconna\u00eetre des chiffres prononc\u00e9s par diff\u00e9rentes personnes avec un taux de r\u00e9ussite de 99,6%. Pour parvenir \u00e0 ce r\u00e9sultat, un oscillateur magn\u00e9tique aux propri\u00e9t\u00e9s tr\u00e8s stables a \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9. Chaque giration de cette nano-boussole est accompagn\u00e9e d\u2019une \u00e9mission \u00e9lectrique, ce qui permet d\u2019imiter les impulsions \u00e9lectriques \u00e9mises par les neurones biologiques. Dans les prochaines ann\u00e9es, ces nano-neurones magn\u00e9tiques pourront \u00eatre interconnect\u00e9s gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des synapses artificielles telles que celles r\u00e9cemment d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es pour traiter et classer des informations en masse en temps r\u00e9el.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019objectif \u00e0 terme de cette collaboration entre les acteurs de la recherche fondamentale et ceux de la recherche appliqu\u00e9e est de r\u00e9aliser des puces miniatures intelligentes, consommant tr\u00e8s peu d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9, capables d\u2019apprendre et de s\u2019adapter aux situations mouvantes et ambig\u00fces du monde r\u00e9el. Ces puces \u00e9lectroniques trouveront des applications multiples, par exemple pour diriger intelligemment des robots ou des v\u00e9hicules autonomes, aider les m\u00e9decins dans leur diagnostic ou encore am\u00e9liorer les proth\u00e8ses m\u00e9dicales. Les travaux pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s impliquent des chercheurs de l\u2019Unit\u00e9 Mixte de Physique CNRS\/Thales, de l\u2019AIST, du CNST-NIST, et du Centre de Nanosciences et Nanotechnologies
