Apr\u00e8s la mise en service des vingt premiers satellites lanc\u00e9s en janvier et juin, treize d\u2019entre eux sont aujourd\u2019hui interconnect\u00e9s et fonctionnent en totale compatibilit\u00e9 avec la constellation initiale Block One, et sept sont en cours de man\u0153uvre sur un plan adjacent. Ce lancement marque aujourd\u2019hui une nouvelle \u00e9tape dans l&rsquo;aventure Iridium NEXT.<\/p>\n<p>Thales Alenia Space est ma\u00eetre d\u2019\u0153uvre du programme Iridium NEXT, en charge de l\u2019ing\u00e9nierie, de l\u2019int\u00e9gration, des op\u00e9rations et de la validation en orbite des 81 satellites et du syst\u00e8me. Ces 20 premiers satellites ont permis de d\u00e9montrer la parfaite compatibilit\u00e9 du syst\u00e8me Iridium NEXT avec le syst\u00e8me existant. Les satellites sont int\u00e9gr\u00e9s en s\u00e9rie sur le site d\u2019Orbital ATK, sous-traitant de Thales Alenia Space en Arizona, supervis\u00e9s par les \u00e9quipes de Thales Alenia Space sp\u00e9cialement d\u00e9localis\u00e9es.
