Il est id\u00e9al pour \u00e9galiser ou pour remplir les petits ou grands interstices dans les modules \u00e9lectroniques, comme par exemple, pour le montage de circuits imprim\u00e9s sur les dissipateurs. La p\u00e2te visco\u00e9lastique poss\u00e8de une tr\u00e8s bonne flexibilit\u00e9 de mise en forme reli\u00e9e \u00e0 des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s adh\u00e9sives excellentes. Ceci facilite une manutention de m\u00eame qu&rsquo;un montage s\u00fbr des \u00e9l\u00e9ments \u00e0 contacter. De plus, le mat\u00e9riau se distingue par une tr\u00e8s bonne conductivit\u00e9 thermique avec une faible imp\u00e9dance thermique, de m\u00eame que par une large plage de temp\u00e9rature d&rsquo;utilisation. Le GEL S 18 est simple, applicable par automatisation et se laisse d\u00e9former sans peine par tr\u00e8s faible force de pression. De plus, le mat\u00e9riau est list\u00e9 UL 94 V-0 et se conserve encore 6 mois par une temp\u00e9rature de stockage \u00e0 25 \u00b0C. La dur\u00e9e de fluidit\u00e9 \u00e0 temp\u00e9rature ambiante est de 60 minutes avec un temps de durcissement correspondant \u00e0 300 minutes \u00e0 temp\u00e9rature ambiante et \u00e0 10 minutes par 100 \u00b0C.
