Sa conception robuste et polyvalente le rend tr\u00e8s adapt\u00e9 \u00e0 la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration d\u2019impulsions et de portes haute tension rapides dans des applications de commande de grilles de tubes de puissance, de cellules de Pockels et QSwitches, ainsi qu\u2019au pilotage de transducteurs acoustiques, de galettes de microcanaux (MCP), de tubes photomultiplicateurs et intensificateurs d&rsquo;image.<br \/>\nLa tension de sortie peut \u00eatre programm\u00e9e de 0 \u00e0 +\/-2000 V (Bipolaire) avec des temps de mont\u00e9e descente d&rsquo;impulsion de 50 nanosecondes. Il fournit des largeurs d&rsquo;impulsion de 500 ns au continu (DC), avec des rapports cycliques de 2 % \u00e0 100 % et des fr\u00e9quences&nbsp; de r\u00e9p\u00e9tition depuis le monocoup jusqu\u2019\u00e0 30,000 Hz. Avec une source de d\u00e9clenchement incorpor\u00e9e et des alimentations haute tension positive et n\u00e9gative internes, le PVX-4000-2kV peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 comme un syst\u00e8me de test autonome.<br \/>\nLa programmation manuelle de l&rsquo;instrument se fait depuis le panneau avant. Pour des applications automatis\u00e9es, la programmation s\u2019effectue par RS-232 et USB. Jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 cinq configurations de syst\u00e8me peuvent \u00eatre stock\u00e9es dans la m\u00e9moire non volatile interne, permettant le rappel instantan\u00e9 de configurations fr\u00e9quemment utilis\u00e9es.<br \/>\nLe panneau avant comporte les connecteurs BNC pour d\u00e9clenchement externe du PVX-4000-2KV et&nbsp; la synchronisation avec l&rsquo;impulsion de sortie, pour le d\u00e9clenchement d&rsquo;autres \u00e9quipements.
