Avant la mise en place m\u00e9canique, RTS peut \u00eatre implant\u00e9 par des techniques de brasage conventionnelles par refusion avec des niveaux de temp\u00e9rature allant jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 260 \u00b0 C.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Activation m\u00e9canique&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Une fois en place sur un circuit Imprim\u00e9, l&rsquo;activation m\u00e9canique arme le RTS pour un d\u00e9clenchement \u00e0 210\u00b0C. Cette activation s&rsquo;effectu\u00e9e en manuel ou en automatique. &nbsp;L&rsquo;\u00e9tat d&rsquo;activation du RTS est clairement et imm\u00e9diatement visible par l&rsquo;installateur. De plus, le troisi\u00e8me contact requis pour l&rsquo;activation \u00e9lectrique est supprim\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Compacit\u00e9&nbsp;et capacit\u00e9 de charge \u00e9lev\u00e9e<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ce nouveau type de protection contre la surchauffe ne mesure que 6,6 x 8,8 mm en offrant une grande capacit\u00e9 de charge. Des courants de fonctionnement jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 100 A \u00e0 des tensions nominales allant jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 60 Vcc peuvent \u00eatre trait\u00e9s par le RTS, qui. propose des variantes avec un shunt int\u00e9gr\u00e9 ou un fusible suppl\u00e9mentaire \u00e0 maximum de courant. Le commutateur thermique r\u00e9missible r\u00e9pond aux exigences des normes AEC-Q200 et MIL-STD.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Protection contre l&#8217;emballement thermique<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;emballement thermique se r\u00e9f\u00e8re \u00e0 la surchauffe d&rsquo;un semi-conducteur de puissance en raison d&rsquo;un processus de production de chaleur auto-renfor\u00e7ant. Les raisons en sont la densit\u00e9 de puissance toujours croissante et la tendance \u00e0 la miniaturisation des circuits \u00e9lectroniques.&nbsp;RTS prot\u00e8ge les semiconducteurs de puissance non pas \u00e0 travers un circuit logique, mais plut\u00f4t par les lois fondamentales de la physique.
