Les conceptions syst\u00e8me de nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration, depuis les capteurs IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things), l&rsquo;\u00e9lectronique de d\u00e9fense et les \u00e9quipements d&rsquo;infrastructure r\u00e9seau, jusqu&rsquo;aux dispositifs m\u00e9dicaux et grand public, ont besoin de collecter, de synth\u00e9tiser et d&rsquo;interagir avec les donn\u00e9es. Ces nouvelles intelligences n\u00e9cessitent davantage de puissance dans un espace toujours plus r\u00e9duit, sans impact sur le budget thermique, ce qui rend les solutions conventionnelles compliqu\u00e9es voire non-viables. Pour permettre l&rsquo;int\u00e9gration dans de petites armoires d\u00e9ploy\u00e9es dans des environnements difficiles m\u00e9caniquement, \u00e9lectriquement et thermiquement, les concepteurs ont besoin d&rsquo;une bonne tol\u00e9rance aux chocs et aux vibrations, de la conformit\u00e9 EMI, d&rsquo;une meilleure efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique, d&rsquo;un fonctionnement possible \u00e0 haute temp\u00e9rature, et de dimensions r\u00e9duites ce qui repr\u00e9sente un d\u00e9fi multi-dimensionnel.<br \/>\nLes modules de puissance uSLIC de Maxim, r\u00e9duisent l&rsquo;encombrement de l&rsquo;alimentation d&rsquo;un facteur 2,25, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 leur bo\u00eetier ultra-miniature. Cela a pu \u00eatre r\u00e9alis\u00e9 en int\u00e9grant un r\u00e9gulateur d\u00e9volteur synchrone \u00e0 large plage d&rsquo;entr\u00e9e Himalaya \u00e0 FET interne, circuit de compensation et autres fonctions embarqu\u00e9es, avec une inductance int\u00e9gr\u00e9e. L&rsquo;association de ces composants permet aux concepteurs d&rsquo;utiliser ces modules dans des syst\u00e8mes o\u00f9 la place est tr\u00e8s restreinte, tout en respectant les contraintes m\u00e9caniques et les normes EMI. En outre, les concepteurs peuvent aussi simplifier leurs conceptions, puisqu&rsquo;ils n&rsquo;ont plus \u00e0 recourir \u00e0 des r\u00e9gulateurs conventionnels encombrants et gourmands en \u00e9nergie, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des modules de puissance pr\u00eats \u00e0 l&#8217;emploi, gu\u00e8re plus gros qu&rsquo;un minuscule LDO. Malgr\u00e9 une si petite taille, les concepteurs peuvent obtenir un rendement \u00e9lev\u00e9 et un niveau de bruit plus faible, assortis d&rsquo;une stabilit\u00e9 accrue. Les modules r\u00e9gulateurs d\u00e9volteurs DC-DC uSLIC, qui offrent une large plage d&rsquo;entr\u00e9e de 4V \u00e0 42V, prennent en charge de multiples applications \u00e0 tension d&rsquo;entr\u00e9e nominale 5V, 12V, 24V ou 36V.
