Cela peut \u00eatre accompli \u00e0 des temp\u00e9ratures extr\u00eamement basses dans des atomes artificiels, mais l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe de KTH a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 un moyen de le faire fonctionner dans des circuits int\u00e9gr\u00e9s optiques \u00e0 temp\u00e9rature ambiante.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p>Le proc\u00e9d\u00e9 permet aux \u00e9metteurs de photons d&rsquo;\u00eatre positionn\u00e9s avec pr\u00e9cision dans des circuits optiques int\u00e9gr\u00e9s utilisant du nitrure de bore hexagonal (hBN), un mat\u00e9riau \u00e0 large bande interdite. Il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;un mat\u00e9riau en couches couramment utilis\u00e9 dans les c\u00e9ramiques, alliages, r\u00e9sines, plastiques et caoutchoucs pour ses propri\u00e9t\u00e9s autolubrifiantes. Celui-ci a \u00e9t\u00e9 int\u00e9gr\u00e9 \u00e0 des guides d&rsquo;ondes en nitrure de silicium pour diriger les photons uniques \u00e9mis.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\"><span class=\"MsoHyperlink\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/news\/globalfoundries-make-quantum-photonic-chips-dresden-new-york\">GlobalFoundries to make photonic chips in Dresden, New York<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\"><span class=\"MsoHyperlink\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/news\/globalfoundries-make-quantum-photonic-chips-dresden-new-york\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/news\/cea-leti-build-quantum-photonics-platform\/page\/0\/2\">CEA-Leti to build silicon photonic platform<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Cela permet de r\u00e9aliser des&nbsp;circuits optiques avec \u00e9mission \u00e0 la demande de photons \u00e0 temp\u00e9rature ambiante pour l&rsquo;informatique quantique, explique Ali Elshaari, professeur associ\u00e9 au KTH Royal Institute of Technology.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abDans les circuits optiques existants fonctionnant \u00e0 temp\u00e9rature ambiante, vous ne savez jamais quand le photon unique est g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 \u00e0 moins que vous ne fassiez une mesure annonciatrice\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Elshaari. \u00ab\u00a0Nous avons r\u00e9alis\u00e9 un processus d\u00e9terministe qui positionne pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment les \u00e9metteurs de particules de lumi\u00e8re fonctionnant \u00e0 temp\u00e9rature ambiante dans un circuit photonique int\u00e9gr\u00e9.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Les chercheurs ont rapport\u00e9 le couplage d&rsquo;un \u00e9metteur photonique unique hBN \u00e0 des guides d&rsquo;ondes en nitrure de silicium, et ils ont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 une m\u00e9thode pour imager les \u00e9metteurs quantiques. Ensuite, dans une approche hybride, l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe a construit les circuits photoniques par rapport aux emplacements des sources quantiques en utilisant une s\u00e9rie d&rsquo;\u00e9tapes impliquant la lithographie et la gravure par faisceau d&rsquo;\u00e9lectrons, tout en pr\u00e9servant la nature de haute qualit\u00e9 de la lumi\u00e8re quantique.<\/p>\n<p>Cette r\u00e9alisation ouvre la voie \u00e0 une int\u00e9gration hybride d&rsquo;\u00e9metteurs \u00e0 photon unique dans des plates-formes photoniques qui ne peuvent pas \u00e9mettre de lumi\u00e8re efficacement \u00e0 la
