Le mod\u00e8le R5443, le plus compact, poss\u00e8de une surface de carte d&rsquo;\u00e0 peine 1,05&nbsp;mm2&nbsp;et une \u00e9paisseur de 0,36&nbsp;mm. Il s&rsquo;agit du circuit int\u00e9gr\u00e9 de protection de batterie Li-Ion \u00e0 cellule unique le plus compact du march\u00e9. Il est 53&nbsp;% plus compact que les circuits int\u00e9gr\u00e9s de protection habituels au format DFN 1,4 x 1,4&nbsp;mm.<\/p>\n<p>Les mod\u00e8les R5441 et R5443 ont pour particularit\u00e9 de poss\u00e9der un circuit int\u00e9gr\u00e9 avec une consommation inf\u00e9rieure ou \u00e9gale \u00e0 la plupart des solutions disponibles sur le march\u00e9, et contribuent \u00e0 r\u00e9duire le taux de d\u00e9charge naturelle du bloc-batterie. En fonctionnement normal, leur consommation de courant est respectivement de 3,5&nbsp;\u00b5A et 2,5&nbsp;\u00b5A. D\u00e8s que la tension de la batterie passe sous le seuil de tension de d\u00e9charge excessive, le produit passe en mode veille et d\u00e9sactive plusieurs circuits internes pour abaisser sa consommation de courant \u00e0 0,04&nbsp;\u00b5A, afin de limiter toute d\u00e9charge suppl\u00e9mentaire de la batterie.<\/p>\n<p>Les&nbsp;circuits&nbsp;R5441 et R5443 b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient d&rsquo;une pr\u00e9cision accrue du seuil de tension de surcharge, qui est de \u00b110&nbsp;mV par rapport aux \u00b130&nbsp;mV des produits classiques. L&rsquo;id\u00e9e derri\u00e8re cette fonctionnalit\u00e9 est d&rsquo;augmenter la tension de charge tout en conservant le m\u00eame niveau de s\u00e9curit\u00e9. R\u00e9sultat&nbsp;: la tension de la batterie augmente de 40&nbsp;mV et rallonge la dur\u00e9e de vie de la batterie, une caract\u00e9ristique importante pour les applications \u00e0 faible capacit\u00e9 de batterie.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;intensit\u00e9 de courant du bloc-batterie est traditionnellement mesur\u00e9 via la r\u00e9sistance d&rsquo;activation MOSFET. Cependant, le niveau de r\u00e9sistance d&rsquo;activation souffre d&rsquo;un manque de pr\u00e9cision, car il d\u00e9pend de nombreux crit\u00e8res, tels que la temp\u00e9rature ambiante, la tension de grille et le type de MOSFET. Pour atteindre un niveau sup\u00e9rieur de d\u00e9tection d&rsquo;intensit\u00e9, les mod\u00e8les R5441 et R5443 int\u00e8grent une r\u00e9sistance de d\u00e9tection d&rsquo;intensit\u00e9. Il est possible de s\u00e9lectionner la valeur de r\u00e9sistance et le niveau de pr\u00e9cision \u00e0 la commande. L&rsquo;utilisation d&rsquo;une r\u00e9sistance interne pr\u00e9sente un avantage majeur&nbsp;: elle am\u00e9liore consid\u00e9rablement la marge du seuil de surintensit\u00e9 par rapport \u00e0 la m\u00e9thode de d\u00e9tection d&rsquo;intensit\u00e9 MOSFET.<\/p>\n<p>Le R5441 poss\u00e8de un circuit suppl\u00e9mentaire, afin de surveiller la temp\u00e9rature du bloc-batterie gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une r\u00e9sistance NTC plac\u00e9e sur la broche en \u00e9tain. En cas de surchauffe, le processus de charge ou de d\u00e9charge est interrompu.
