Toutefois, en limitant la personnalisation aux seuls masques des couches m\u00e9talliques, cette plateforme permet de r\u00e9duire consid\u00e9rablement les co\u00fbts de d\u00e9veloppement. Par cons\u00e9quent, les \u00e9chantillons comme les dispositifs produits en s\u00e9rie peuvent&nbsp;livr\u00e9s dans des d\u00e9lais beaucoup plus courts que des ASIC conventionnels. Les clients utilisant la m\u00e9thodologie de conception et la biblioth\u00e8que ASIC FFSA sont assur\u00e9s d\u2019obtenir de meilleures performances et une consommation moindre qu&rsquo;avec des FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array).<br \/>\nLe nouveau proc\u00e9d\u00e9 FFSA 130&nbsp;nm s\u2019ajoute \u00e0 l\u2019offre actuelle de proc\u00e9d\u00e9s 28, 40 et 65&nbsp;nm de Toshiba, en offrant une option suppl\u00e9mentaire pour l&rsquo;\u00e9quipement industriel. Ce processus de fabrication 130&nbsp;nm propose diff\u00e9rentes tranches ma\u00eetresses avec jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 664&nbsp;ko de RAM et environ 912.000&nbsp;portes par dispositif.
