Drew Henry, vice-pr\u00e9sident et directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du secteur Infrastructure, explique que Graviton \u00e9tait bas\u00e9 sur la plate-forme de processeur Cosmos 16 nm (voir Rapports: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eenewsanalog.com\/news\/reports-arm-discloses-roadmap-performance-taiwan\">ARM pr\u00e9sente sa feuille de route \u00e0 Taiwan<\/a>).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\">Selon ceartains rapports, Graviton est bas\u00e9 sur le noyau 64 bits Cortex-A72 fonctionnant \u00e0 des fr\u00e9quences d\u2019horloge jusqu\u2019\u00e0 2,3 GHz. Seul le nombre de c\u0153urs par puce physique n&rsquo;est pas connu,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\">Le Cortex-A72 est une conception relativement mature qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7ue pour cibler les processus de fabrication \u00e0 16 nm. Les serveurs bas\u00e9s sur les processeurs Intel et AMD devraient \u00eatre plus rapides en termes de performances, mais les syst\u00e8mes de traitement de l\u2019intelligence artificielle con\u00e7us \u00e0 en interne peuvent offrir \u00e0 Amazon l&rsquo;avantage en termes de performances par dollar cit\u00e9 par Amazon. Et de plus, il y aura la possibilit\u00e9 d&rsquo;utiliser le Cortex-A76 en processus 10nm pour augmenter encore les performances.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\">La conception de Graviton est issue de la maison de design isra\u00e9lienne Annapurna Labs. Annapurna, fond\u00e9e en 2011, a \u00e9t\u00e9 acquise avant la fabrication de tout produit par Amazon en janvier 2015 pour un montant compris entre 350 et 370 millions de dollars. En 2016, Annapurna disposait de sa propre gamme de processeurs bas\u00e9s sur ARM (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.eenewsanalog.com\/news\/amazon-now-sells-own-arm-chips\">voir Amazon vend d\u00e9sormais ses propres puces ARM<\/a>).<\/span><br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>\u00e0 suivre: ARM dans les centres de donn\u00e9es<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\">Graviton est la premi\u00e8re utilisation par Amazon de processeurs con\u00e7us en interne sur sa plate-forme cloud. La gamme pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente d&rsquo;Annapurna \u00e9tant utilis\u00e9e dans les produits de passerelle domestique et de routeur Wi-Fi de Netgear, QNAP Systems et Synology.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\">\u00ab\u00a0Les processeurs de serveur ARM m&rsquo;int\u00e9ressent depuis plus de dix ans. Il est donc excitant de voir AWS Graviton enfin rendu public.
